November’s birthstones are considered to be the citrine and the topaz – both stones are shaded in a golden tone, perfect for fall. Citrine is often very light yellow and can be a little milky. Citrine is often believed to increase self-esteem and to calm and soothe. 
Topaz comes in a variety of colors but is often found in shades of red, yellow, and brown. It is believed to banish bad dreams and to make the wearer more charismatic. The name topaz can refer to the stone itself or to the color.
