All Handmade

Over the years that I’ve been making jewelry, I’ve learned how to make a lot of the components I use in my work. Creating my own headpins, earring hooks, bead caps and jump rings (known as findings) can take time, but it results in a truly handmade piece that reflects my style, and in order to save money. I can make exactly the item I need, when I need it, and this comes in handy when I need something a bit out of the ordinary. Here are some of the things I’ve created this week – earring wires, head pins, a hammered fine silver heart and some hammered sterling silver squares and rectangles that will go into earrings.
